Spain has been an incredible adventure for our family, and after going through all the paperwork and jumping through what felt like endless hoops, I can confidently say—it was so worth it.
The quality of life here is amazing, from the relaxed pace to the incredible food, culture, and sense of community. And the opportunities our kids are getting just by being immersed in a new culture are absolutely priceless.
One of the reasons we chose to move to Spain was because my eldest daughter’s university of choice was near by, and to bring my mom along with us after she was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. Being here has allowed me to care for her while still enjoying all the wonderful things Spain has to offer. The healthcare system has been outstanding—providing excellent care at a fraction of what we would have paid in the U.S. It’s been a huge relief and one of the many reasons we’re so glad we made the move.
